Due to the impact of Typhoon No.7, the park will be closed all day on Thursday, August 16.

Summary
HITACHINAKA FESTIVAL 2024 × HITACHI SEASIDE PARK
For two days from August 16th (Friday) to August 17th (Saturday), a maze and a Miharashi stand will be set up in the vast sunflower field of Miharashi-no-Sato, with the green kochia of Miharashi-no-Oka in Hitachi Seaside Park in the background.
We will hold a “Yukata” dressing experience. You would have an unforgettable experience wearing a “Yukata” against the backdrop of sunflower fields and old folk houses.
“Koto” and “Wadaiko” performances are available. Afterwards, you will be able to move from venue to venue and participate in fireworks displays and drone shows while wearing your “Yukata”. You can feel the Japanese summer even more.
The 30th anniversary Hitachinaka Festival will be held on Sunday, August 18th, and there will be many hands-on activities such as dancing and float pulling.
